In a significant show of support for community-driven development, the Osapa London Estate Gardens Residents Association (OLEGRA) on Friday, 16th May 2025 hosted members of the Osapa London Youth Organization (OLYO) during a proposal presentation centered on an upcoming environmental sanitation initiative to kickstart on 31st May, 2025.
During the engagement, the Secretary of OLEGRA, speaking on behalf of the association, warmly applauded the timely and visionary initiative brought forward by the youth organization. In a strong demonstration of commitment, OLEGRA pledged the sum of Two Hundred and Fifty Thousand Npaira (₦250,000) to support the successful execution of the sanitation exercise aimed at promoting a cleaner and healthier environment within Osapa London.

In her remarks, the OLEGRA Secretary expressed concern over the increasing rate of drug abuse among youth and the unchecked proliferation of street traders in unauthorized locations around the Osapa London. She emphasized that these issues pose a serious challenge to community development and security, urging collective efforts to address them through continuous engagement and strategic partnerships.
Responding on behalf of OLYO, the President of the organization, accompanied by distinguished executive members, expressed profound gratitude to OLEGRA for its generosity, encouragement, and continued collaboration. He reiterated the organization’s unwavering commitment to human capital development and environmental sustainability in Osapa London.
The President further stressed that OLYO remains steadfast in its mission to foster progressive community development through strategic partnerships. He affirmed the organization’s readiness to work closely with governmental and non-governmental organizations, academic institutions, and security agencies to ensure lasting impact and serenity is felt in the community.

This collaboration between OLEGRA and OLYO marks a significant step towards sustainable community development and is a testament to the shared vision of residents and youths for a cleaner, safer, and more prosperous Osapa London.
