On 6th March 2025, the Executives of Osapa London Youth Organization (OLYO) paid a formal visitation to Engineer Femi Olatunji, Director Femolat Engineering Service and Chairman Monarch Gardens Event Centre.

The visitation span on delivery of proposal “100 Participants Monthly Environmental Sanitation” initiative and “Patronship Award”.

In a commendable show of support for community development, Engineer Olatunji pledged the sum of Two Million Naira (N2,000,000) to further the efforts of the Osapa London Youth Organization (OLYO) in its “100 Participants Monthly Environmental Sanitation” initiative.

During a recent engagement with the leadership of OLYO, Engineer Olatunji inquired about the awareness and support of key figures in Osapa London, including High Chief Abdulwaheed Eletu-Odibo, Alhaji Mudashiru Eletu-Odibo, Oba Ademola Eletu-Ashorota (Ashorotalaya I, Onitele of Itele), and Amb. Dr. Prince Kazeem Austin Eletu-Odibo. In response, the President of OLYO confirmed their awareness, adding that Amb. Dr. Prince Kazeem Austin Eletu-Odibo has been honored with the Patronship Award of OLYO and has received the organization’s proposal, with plans underway to present copies to other respected community elders.

Engineer Olatunji, while reviewing the proposal, advised the organization to carefully consider the cost of refreshments, cautioning that excessive spending in this regard might undermine the seriousness of the initiative. The Convener of OLYO, Rilwan Muritala Eletu-Odibo, clarified that refreshment is entirely voluntary and that members of the organization remain committed to their selfless duty of community service.

Recognizing the energy and potential of the youth in shaping the future of Osapa London, Engineer Olatunji emphasized the importance of building a strong and sustainable structure for the organization. He stated:

“The vision of Osapa London is in your hands. I am already 82 years old, and my time is short, but you, the youth, must set a formidable structure that will advance the cause of Osapa London.”

Reaffirming his commitment to supporting OLYO’s initiatives, he encouraged the youth to broaden their scope by addressing pressing issues such as out-of-school children and unemployed youths struggling to find their footing. He urged them to conduct thorough research on these challenges and wholeheartedly appreciated the Patronship recognition.

Engineer Olatunji, a renowned environmentalist, philanthropist, and educationist, has once again demonstrated his unwavering dedication to societal growth and youth empowerment. His generous donation and invaluable counsel stand as a call to action for other stakeholders to join hands in building a cleaner, more sustainable, and progressive Osapa London.
